you to your very bones!
Most real evil ghosts are well documented because numerous
people have had encounters with them over the years. Some
you have undoubtedly heard about on the various TV shows
that document the travels of ghost hunters, but others are
definitely unfamiliar because they are not well publicised. Evil
ghosts, or poltergeists as they are sometimes called, are
better known as tramp souls in the paranormal world, so first a
little more about them and then a few example of the
frightening things that they have been known to do!

Tramp Souls

Tramp souls are real evil ghosts in every sense of the words.
They are neither living nor accepting of the fact that they are
dead. As such, they wander the Earth desperately trying to
rejoin the land of the living and wreaking havoc on anyone
that gets in their path. It is usually a well-defined path that they
wander because they are forced to revisit the places that they
caused most harm whilst they were alive.

Tramp souls are real evil ghosts because they performed
horrible deeds when they were alive. This does not apply to all
of them because some may just have unfinished business as a
result of an untimely death, but those that it does apply to tend
to make the lives of the living a misery.

The four real evil ghosts that have been singled out for special
treatment here so read on and heed the warning!

Saco River, Maine

Around 200 years ago, a young female Native American was
kidnapped in Saco. The settlers that abducted her took her
out onto Saco River to have their wicked way with her. Whilst
she was fundamentally good, the two men were most definitely
not and the river claimed them all during the brave young lady’
s fight for life. Her father happened to be the Indian Chief in
the area and flew into a rage when he heard the news. As
revenge, he cursed the river and condemned the men to an
eternity underwater, floating between the land of the living and
the land of the dead. The real evil ghosts claim at least three
lives on the river every single year to try and barter their way
to the other side so stay well away if you know what is good for
you.

Eliza’s Spirit, Bangor, Maine

A young witch named Eliza lived alone in Bangor up until her
death in 1831. Unlike her fellow witches in the area, she used
her gifts for evil, making sure she got what she wanted no
matter whom it hurt. She died alone and bitter, vowing to haunt
every family that stayed in her home from that day forth and
she successfully drove many to the brink of suicide. Being one
of the real evil ghosts, she wreaked havoc and finally brought
her home down when she set fire to it in 1945. That has not
helped her to move on though. She still screeches well into the
night where the house once was.

The Myrtle Plantation, St Francisville, Louisiana

The Myrtle Plantation was the home built by General David
Brand, who is not one of the real evil ghosts but was guilty of
misjudgement. He built the plantation on an Indian burial
ground, which was discovered when workers found bones.
Bradford ordered them burned. This had no effect in his
lifetime but the bad luck was passed onto his daughter, who
died of accidental poisoning. It is the servant girl that poisoned
the whole family that rampages through the plantation today.
She has been known to terrorize people, thus making her the
evil ghost despite the fact that her murderous act was simply
an accident.

Bloody Mary’s Cabin, Oakdale, Connecticut

This is a famous real evil ghosts story, and one that many a
child has been scared to death with by older siblings over the
years! Mary was a young girl that committed suicide under a
full moon. Legend has it that anyone venturing into the cabin
on a full moon only has to utter the words “Bloody Mary” three
times and she will appear. When she is summoned, she
wreaks havoc on all standing within the cabin at that time.
